IP Filtering, Security & Infrastructure

This month we focused on giving you more control over your analytics data and making WireBoard more reliable behind the scenes.
You can now exclude specific IP addresses from being tracked on a per-site basis. Whether it's your own visits, office traffic, or VPN connections, you decide what counts in your analytics.
We've also spent time hardening our security, optimizing the data processing pipeline, and squashing bugs across the platform.
What's New:
- IP Ignore List: Exclude specific IPs from tracking on a per-site basis
- Supports single IPs (IPv4 & IPv6), CIDR ranges, and wildcard patterns
- Up to 20 rules per site with optional labels for easy identification
- Manage filters directly from the site settings panel

Better Privacy, Better Data: WireBoard Tracker Update

We've updated the WireBoard tracker to give you a clearer picture of your real traffic, without compromising user privacy.
Previously, visitors with strict privacy settings (cookie blockers, private browsing, or those who hadn't accepted consent) weren't being tracked at all. This meant your analytics were missing a portion of your real traffic.
With this update, all visitors are now counted while respecting their privacy choices. Users who don't accept cookies are tracked anonymously within their browsing session only. No persistent data is stored on their device.

- Better insight into your actual audience
- Easier GDPR and ePrivacy compliance
- No action required! The update is automatic
